Isfahan is the main center of art and handicrafts in Iran. Usually, tourists visiting Isfahan are mostly exposed to the traditional aspects of Persian art by visiting historical places, museums and art shops. This neglection sometimes overshadows modern and contemporary art and its artists, making them stay out of the spotlight. Iran has a rich and growing Contemporary Art that can be appealing to many art lovers around the world(Isfahan tour).
On the other hand, there are many active art galleries in Isfahan hosting local and international art shows, creating a great opportunity to experience a taste of contemporary art. Our plan is to visit up to five art galleries in this tour that will be hosting various events such as Art Performances, Installations, Video art, Photography, Painting and other types of contemporary arts. As we meet the artists, we get to know the concepts behind their artworks and their journey in the world of art.
Because of the fact that events held in these art galleries change weekly, numbers of galleries and types of shows available vary, which affects the timing of the tour and the artworks we visit. These galleries are scattered around the city, but they are not more than 20 minutes far from each other. Accompany us on a tour full of color, creativity and excitement.
