Our destination is Namak Abrood, a city located in Mazandaran Province. Generally, the area climate is mild and moist. That’s why there are lots of flourishing forests and fertile lands. If you travel in winter, you will see the mountains’ summits covered by pure snow, while in summers it can be hot and humid. After having breakfast in the hotel, the trip starts by crossing Chalus Road. Chalus is also an old city in Mazandaran, placed in a plain near Caspian Sea.
There are lots of numerous attractions in Chalus as well. One of them is Akapol Waterfall near Sardab River and the mountainous forest of Kelardasht. You will face scenic landscapes in this area. Another waterfall is Harijan, located on Tehran-Chalus Road. It’s more than 9 meters high from water level and surrounded by towering trees. There’s a wonderful forest park next to Chalus River which has lodges, benches and play ground. Passing Chalus and the attractions on the way, we get to our destination, Namak Abrood, a touristic village in the area of Northern Iran.There’s Caspian Sea in the North of the city and Alborz Mountain Range in the South.
One of the most favorable and enchanting sections of Namak Abrood is to get on telecabine and start a marvelous journey. It starts at the sea-shore of Caspian Sea and it will lead you toward the summits. The temperature is almost 10 degrees fewer in comparison to the sea level. You’ll definitely be amazed by the lively panoramic views of Alborz heights crossing dense forest area, at times mixed with some mist. When you arrive at the top of Alborz, you’ll see the whole city of Nowshahr, Chalus and the beautiful Caspian Sea.
Next, we can try sleigh riding. Getting on the sleigh will make you go as fast as 25 km/h. On the way, you’ll pass beautiful trees and wonderful terrains. One of the thrilling activities on this tour is paintball. Amazingly, we can try it in Namak Abrood forest among Alder trees. Karting with All-terrain vehicle is another option. We will also visit Arvah Pond. A pond in Noshahr, which is mostly misty and covered by forest trees. Motel Ghou or Salman Shahr is our latter stop. A portal city with a pleasant beach and glamorous cave called Danial. In General, Mazandaran is an alluring province in North of Iran, full of natural attractions and recreational facilities.
