Isfahan Free Walking Tour

In this Free Walking Tour, you will walk with us for 3 hours and get familiar with Isfahan’s must-see places!

We will start walking through Sepah street toward Naqsh-e Jahan Square. On the way, you can watch the old and modern shops and pass by Chehel Sotoun Palace which is one of the Persian gardens and dates back to the Safavid time. At the end of this street, you face a rectangular magnificent square, Naqsh-e Jahan Square!

In this tour, we will travel back in time for about 400 years and see some masterpieces from the Safavid dynasty.

We will visit the spectacular Naqsh-e Jahan square which is not only one of the largest historical squares in the world but also maybe even the most amazing one!

We also visit the alluring Chehelsotoon palace and the Great Abbasi mosque and in the end, we get to know more about the arts and handicrafts of Isfahan city.

Perfect day with Amin

We had a wonderful day with Amin (Khoramak). He is really passionate about his work and knows a lot. He made the most out of the tour, showing us as much as possible, not rushing through things. It is the best walking tour we had so far. We can really recommend it!

    Isfahan free walki g tour

    Samaneh was an amazing guide, she really knows too much about history and art. She also invited me for some traditional Iranian dessert which was amazing. I really enjoyed the tour and hoghly recommend it to anyone

    I've had great experiences with a free walking tour in Iran. Samaneh is such a great. We joined the tour at the square, and we walked all around. She took the time to explain some points that we didn't understand patiently. Super passionate and also recommned to ones looking for great experiences.

    Really interesting tour!

    The tour was really interesting! Samaneh speaks English very well and she's well informed about all the monuments, she is helpful and kind. We also entered in the 2 mosques and in one palace and she explained us everything! I strongly recommend this tour, thank you Samaneh!

    Walking tour Esfahan

      We had booked a 3 h tour in Esfahan and ended up to stay with Samaneh much longer as we had so many questions. She was very flexible and knowledgeable. It was wonderful having her with us.       Fantastic walking tour with Firouzeh

        My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic free tour of Isfahan with Firouzeh. She is a great guide- she is warm, friendly and very knowledgeable. We were the only two people on the tour so she focussed on our interests which are art and history. Her English is excellent as is her information on Isfahan. Firouzeh also introduced us to typical foods of the city which were delicious. She spent four hours with us showing how generous she is with her time. She even offered to walk with us to the bus station to help us with buying our tickets to Shiraz. We feel that we have met a new friend. I recommend this tour with Firouzeh

        Samaneh, great at history of Isfahan

        I did a walking tour with Samaneh. She is extremely knowledgable and very flexible with her schedule. She took us inside two monuments and explained everything inside which is really unheard of on free walking tours. I definitely recommend her to tourists that visit Isfahan.

        Best tour I’ve had anywhere

        Great tour!

        We really enjoyed our tour of Esfahan. Our guide was very welcoming and knowledgeable and she went to great lenghts to make our tour a great one. We also visited some interiors of the buidlings incl the mosque, which made the visit even more interesting. Thank you!

        Good tour of Esfahan

        Did the tour last week, was the only person on the tour, Sameneh was my guide and was great for showing me all the main sites and also for explaining all the history , also advising of social attitudes and the culture of Iranians. She also took me to sample some local dessert and brought me to a restaurant to sample the local speciality for lunch.

          Interesting tour with Samaneh!

          In May we did a walking tour with Samaneh. She is really kind and tells a lot of interesting facts about the city and all that is in it!           Great day in Isfahan!

            First of all we have to say that it was great getting a private tour from Samaneh because we were the only 2 guests. Samaneh loves giving and receiving information. She knows the right balance between walking, sightseeing and giving information about history, architecture, gastronomy and so on.             Esfahan tour with Samaneh

            I had a wonderful day with Samaneh, she was very flexible with what I wanted to see and do. She stopped whenever I wanted to try or go into an attraction as I happened to be the only one on the tour (it was low season). What especially stood out is the stop she makes for desert that is traditional of the city that she bought for me. She has a masters in history and is thus very knowledgeable about the city and country. I can highly recommend her!

            Samaneh is an amazing Tour guide

            She did a great tour around the center of Isfahan, telling a lot about ancient sights. It was really new and interesting information, and also she showed a couple of hidden places such as a table cloth factory in the caravan saray or a beautiful small park. Highly recommended as a guide!

            Great tour!

            I did a walking tour with Ali and enjoyed it a lot! He is very knowledgeable, but also fun to hang out with. He gave me great insights about the city, culture and ideas for the rest of my stay (places to visit, food to try etc) highly recommended!
