1. Kashan Carpet
One of the most famous handicrafts of Kashan is its carpet. About one-third of the citizens of Kashan work in the carpet weaving industry of this city. Most people think of Hamadan when they hear the name Sofal (Pottery). But we have to admit that the pottery industry is very common and important in Kashan, as well. The pottery industry in Kashan is seven thousand years old. Clearly, this shows that pottery in Kashan is considered the most important industry in the city. Nashalji Village is 45 km from Kashan, located on the road from Kashan to Mashhad in Ardahal. The material they use to make this Giveh are linen fabric, Tragacanth, and cow skin. 17. Abbas Ali Bread
Abbas Ali bread is a traditional bread whose basic ingredients are flour, oil, sugar, milk, saffron, turmeric, and ginger. You can find this bread in all bakeries in the city during the first ten days of Muharram. No worries because it is not hard to find this bread during the other times. It is not bad to know that Abbas Ali’s bread baking ritual is in the list of spiritual and intangible heritage of the country since June 2015.
