Persian Poetry Night in Isfahan

In a nice and cozy atmosphere of a private art gallery, we walk through a rich history. Persian poetry is full of wisdom and romance. In 1.5 hours, you will get a grasp on what classical Persian poetry is all about.

We begin with singing together and learning few verses in Persian. Afterwards, we will perform four selections from different eras, each of which focuses on a different aspect of love in Persian culture. These selections are from Rudaki, Khayyam, Rumi and Hafez. Having recited those poems, we explain their content and put them in the context of rich Persian culture.

In a short break, delicious sweets and tea are served. Ash Reshteh, a traditional Persian stew, is the finishing touch to this cultural experience.
