Rig-e Yalan is one of the vastest sand seas on planet earth. In fact it is so large that only a handful of people have been able to scratch its surface and go deep into the desert. The erg (locally known as Rig) stretches between three provinces of Kerman, South Khorasan and Sistan and Baluchestan.
This wonder of the world holds a collection of spectacular dunes, that is the Lut desert. These dunes are the tallest of their kind in the world, some being more that 480 m tall. The desert is considered as on of the hottest places on earth reaching over 70 degrees Celsius. It is known by geologists as the heat pole of the planet.
On this tour, you will visit the Sirch village, a village only 50 km away from Kerman tours. Yardangs in the desert, locally known as Kaluts, which are absolutely unique are also another destination on our tour. on the majestic dunes of Lut desert, you can enjoy activities like climbing, sand boarding, or relaxing.
Then we will depart from the desert and visit Deh Salm Village for a few hours. One of the smallest and most beautiful villages in Kerman. The mountain ridges on the backdrop of this village, give it a movie-like feeling that is hard to forget.
A tour on one of the driest, lifeless, hottest pieces of land on the world, experiencing what only a few have experienced before you, is something anybody can cherish for their entire lives.
