Kurdistan and Kermanshah Tour

The western regions of Iran, particularly Kurdistan and Kermanshah offer countless beautiful destinations to visitors. The region has been considered an off the beaten track destination for a long time, however, if you have the time to visit you will surely love uncovering the region’s beauties.

This tour is packed with numerous natural beauties, mountain villages, historical sights and tasty Iranian dishes. The rich culture of Kurds will make your experience invaluable and their warm hospitality would create wonderful memories for you.

We will start our tour from anywhere in Tehran, Kermanshah or Sanandaj. In our regular itinerary, the tour will be started from Bisotun Historical Area, after having breakfast and visiting the inscriptions of Bisotun, we will move on to the mountainous village of Palangan where we also have our lunch by the nearby river. We will finally settle in a hotel in front of the beautiful Zarivar Lake where we also enjoy our dinner.

The following day will be started by visiting the stepped village of Uraman Takht, in the same region a beautiful twisted road takes us to a beautiful lake right next to the Hajij village. Ghuri Ghaleh Cave which is reportedly the largest water cave in Asia is among our stops in the second day. We will then go to Kermanshah to visit Shafei Mosque and Tagh-e Bostan historical attraction, a magnificent Sassanid art in the heart of Kashan.

On the third day, we spend more time exploring the nature and culture of the region. Visiting Piran Waterfall, Sar Pol-e Zahab and Qasr-e Shirin cities are among the highlights of this day. After having our lunch in Kermanshah, we will head back to Tehran where our tour ends.

my birthday trip to Kurdistan

It was the early April of 2020 and our guide was amazing, we were told amazing stories and plenty of time for pictures. This tour is so surreal and we loved every second of walking in the village of uramant and palangan and seeing the locals and having lunch with them. It was so lovely to see the Tagh-e Bostan, Piran Waterfall, well done tappersia. This was my favourite birthday I‘ve ever had. 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Fantastic

We hopped in the car from Tehran and had some great times with our guid. Management fulfilled all the promises. They let us explore on our own and didn’t follow us like kindergarten teachers as we have experienced it with other companies. A lovely experience, with really nice guides, that are really friendly. Highly recommend a visit!

What a fabulous day from the knowledgeable tour guide to our driver, we live in Australia and have to say, on the best trips we have done. The day before we had the Uraman Takht and Palangan experience, another superb tour. So enjoyable. Thank you tappersia🌸

fantastic

Visited the stepped villages in the mountains in Fall. Sun came out for the first time in days and made the tour fabulous. Our guide was amazing, knowledgeable, and made the guided tour enjoyable for all. We were not rushed and although we had to stay some places for others to take pictures, we could wander around on our own. I would highly recommend this tour.

A treat for my wife and I

From picking up from kermanshah to the end of the tour it was all perfect. A very nice experience. Our guide was down for hiking which was our favorite. He left enough time to let us experience the nature of Iran in our tour. An absolute definition of a tour guide he was.. This tour was exceptionally well organized and you can get a hot Chai before every activity which to our surprise we got addicted to it more than coffee.😂
