The gorgeous city of Mahan is only 30 kilometers away from Kerman. This amazing city holds a number of significant sites and landmarks in its heart. the number is so great that it makes it hard for us to see them all in one day, so we’ll only have to see the best of the best(Kerman tours).
Mahan city is on the south of Kerman and because of its proximity to the Hazaran mountains, it has a cooler climate and thus it’s more pleasant in the hotter seasons. Rayen city is also a bit lower south than Mahan, and is close to the Jupar mountain which also makes it cooler than Kerman itself.
On this tour you will visit the amazing shrine of Shah Nematollah Vali, the tomb of one of the greatest men in the history of Iran. This is no regular shrine but an architectural gem. Every aspect of this magnificent building and the gardens that surround it, is absolutely fascinating.
After that you will visit the biggest garden in Iran, right in the heart of the desert. The shazdeh garden near the city of Mahan is an spectacularly magical piece of heaven, in one of the hottest and driest spots on the planet. From there, you will head off to the city of Rayen, and see the second largest mud-brick made citadels in the world, the Rayen citadel.
