This camping tour is operated from March to December.
Varzaneh Desert is located 130 kilometers to the east of Isfahan and is one of the most accessible deserts to visit from any big cities in Iran. It is located close to a desert city with the same name which is worth a visit itself.
We will be driving for 1.5 hours to reach Varzaneh Desert. The journey starts at 15 o’clock (this might vary depending on the season). Arriving early makes sure that we can capture the astonishing sunset in the desert, walk on the sand dunes and go deep in the sands.
By the time the sun has set, we have already chosen our spot for the night. We will make a small fire to gather around and have dinner. As the sky of the desert is usually clear, we will most likely have the chance to enjoy one of the finest stargazing experiences, the desert is absolutely one of the best places to enjoy the sky at night.
Waking up early the next day gives us the chance to see the sunrise in the desert. We will then have our breakfast and finally move back to Isfahan. As an option, you can choose to end this tour in Yazd (charges apply).
